Until 2018, the electrical industry was essentially the wild west without significant enforceable rules, regulations or standards. Due to the lack of enforceable standards, there were numerous horrific accidents and deaths within the industry and only the most severe were ever reported. In 2018, developed at OSHA’s request, the NFPA 70E was authored to provide a standard for electrical safety in the workplace to reduce injuries and fatalities due to shock, electrocution, Arc Flash and Arc Blast. The Arc Safe Electrical Testing System is not an “As Seen on TV” product, it is a specialized product; however, the current market for the Arc Safe Electrical Testing System has a huge audience, and there is an estimated +70,000 electrical contractors in the US alone employing +1,144,114 electricians/technicians. Additionally there are tens of thousands of maintenance personnel and in house operations personnel. There are +718,796 manufacturing facilities, +500,000 warehouse facilities, 306,000 Government facilities, and nearly 900 military bases. More than 45,743,880 electrical panels are currently in operation in the US alone, with more than 25,000 newly installed electrical panels being added each month. In addition, countries in the European Union are adopting the requirements outlined in the 2021 NFPA 70E. Even with the new standards in place, there are still 30,000 arc flash accidents each year, resulting in +7,000 burn injuries, 2,000 hospitalizations, and as many as 400 fatalities each year, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in claims. Once UL certified and listed, the Arc Safe Electrical Testing System will become the “Seat Belt” and “Air-Bag” within the industry, as we foresee the system becoming a code requirement in the future, similar to the current National Electrical Code 240.67 & 240.87 requiring energy-reducing maintenance switch as a method to reduce the incident energy in circuits 1200 amps and greater. On equipment that has circuits that are much larger, such as 3000 – 6000 amps this feature merely reduces the incident energy to just under the 40 CAL/cm2 threshold just below the actual limit of the maximum exposure permitted by OSHA & NFPA safety standard assuming the technician is trained as a competent person donning the appropriate CAT 4 Suit with balaclava hood, and is accompanied by an attendant with the specialized training and is deemed a qualified or competent person standing adjacent to the competent person donning the same CAT 4 PPE with a retraction hook to instantly pull them to safety in the event there is an incident. Meaning the exposure is still at a very hazardous level. The Arc Safe Electrical Testing System utility patent is good through 2040 and has no equal, and cannot be copied or duplicated. Up until now, the industry has relied on the same archaic two-pole digital multimeters, and in the middle of testing, they are forced to set the two-pole meter down and unfurl the 3-pole test leads on the Phase Sequence Rotation meter in order to complete the required start-up and commissioning testing, this is where many technicians who utilize the preferred contact testing probes experience an accident. If the technician had been using the Arc Safe Electrical Testing System, they would have already been done and safely moved to the next piece of equipment. This is an opportunity for an investor to get in on the ground floor with a revolutionary product that will become the future of energized electrical testing. Based on the demand for a safe method of testing that reduces hazards and administrative costs a modest projected sales model is as follows.
Projected sales of the newly patented 5-Pole, 12 function ARC SAFE meter in the first year = 7,500, with the sales doubling in the second year to 15,000, and the sales more than tripling in the third year to 30,000.
Projected sales of the newly patented 5-Pole ARC SAFE permanent style wiring harness and plug assembly in the first year = 50,000 with the sales doubling in the second year to 100,000, and the sales more than tripling in the third year to 325,000.
